The fund manager, AmInvestment Services Berhad has decided NOT to increase the approved fund size of AmDynamic Bond, citing that the current fund size is being managed at its optimum level. Thus, to preserve the fund’s yield and performance, AmDynamic Bond will be closed for subscription from 17 July 2012 onwards or earlier if the approved fund size is reached.
The FSMI - All Equity index rebounded 2.5% in June 2012. Top 5 funds were various types of overseas funds; bottom 5 funds were mostly those heavily invested in Taiwan, China and Gold equities.
Just to give a gauge on where the attractive valuations are, we have compiled in Table 1 the current estimated PE ratios and fair PE ratios of our 4- and 5-star rated markets.
