The Fundsupermart magazine has been published since 2001 in Singapore and it has garnered a strong following from investors and industry players. A broad summary is as follows: The global economy is expected to turn up in the second half of 2009 Bonds edged equities as the most preferred asset class Asia ex-Japan is the most favoured regional market, followed by the US China is the most favoured Asian market Infrastructure is the most favoured sector US investment grade bonds are most favoured within the bonds class A large majority of the respondents have an overweight position in the US dollar (USD) In a departure from the poll findings, our Research Team favours equities over bonds in 2009. But we are on the same page as the poll respondents when it comes to our favourite Asian market (China) and most favoured bonds class (investment grade bonds).
