Hi

Thurs, 27 Aug 2015 oil prices surge more than 10%. Most resource stock stock like Rio Tinto was abt 5%.

Why on Friday, 28th aug the published price for First State Glb Resources 27th Aug price is negative ?

Please advise.

Fund price first state Glb Resource

August 26, 2015 => 0.6883
August 27, 2015 => 0.6867

Morning Limes,

regarding your question, it is not necessary that outside index increase or most of stock price increase then NAV first state Glb Resource must rise too.

It is depend how many units the fund holds. so this will manipulate by fund house by calculation.

if no mistaken, formula is NAV = (fund assets - fund liabilities) / outstanding shares

it means that amount that fund hold divide by total units.
