is it a good time to invest in asia now?

Asia has been and is continuing to be more positive especially for equity market; an optimistic growth coming back in 2017. There is a lot of growth in China and the emerging markets in general. China’s equity market made gains reflecting a stabilising Chinese yuan and fewer concerns surrounding capital outflows. In nearby Hong Kong, stocks also tracked higher on sustained momentum and strong buying interest from Mainland Chinese investors. In addition, Asian credit growth is back on track whereby the gained is marginally more positive outlook for global growth. With improving asset quality and a pick-up in growth and profit margins, Asian credit market is foreseen to remain broadly stable.

In this presentation, Mr Pang Chon Song, Assistant Vice President and Southern Regional Manager of RHB Asset Management Sdn. Bhd., will provide his views on Asia.

malaysia's equity market - technical rebound or sustainable recovery?

After delivering 3 consecutive years of negative returns, Malaysia’s equity market, as represented by the FBM KLCI index, has managed to soar by a whopping 6% within merely four months going into 2017. Is it just a technical rebound? Or is the recovery sustainable this time round?

In this presentation, Mr Jerry Lee, Fundsupermart.com Research Analyst, will be sharing his view on this issue, and also updating investors on the on-going development within Malaysia.
