Speakers' profile

Aiman Anuar
Global Equities Specialist of Nomura Asset Management Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

Aiman joined Nomura Asset Management Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (NAMM) in November 2014 and is currently a contributing member of the Global Equity Strategy Committee and the Global Stock Selection Committee in NAM.

His primary responsibilities include research coverage of Australia and Asia Pacific markets. Aiman is involved in new idea generation and reviews of existing investments in the Global Equities portfolio management teams in Kuala Lumpur and London.

Prior to joining NAMM, Aiman was attached to the Global Treasury team (FX & Derivative Sales unit) in OCBC Malaysia.

Aiman holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) & Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Civil Engineering and Finance, from the University of Melbourne, Australia.


Steve Lim
Chief Learning Officer of Affin Hwang Asset Management Berhad

Steve Lim joined Affin Hwang Asset Management on 1 June 2010 as Chief Product Officer. He then took on a new role as Chief Learning Officer in January 2014 and is instrumental in setting up an academy to cater to the learning and training needs of various clients. In his previous role as Chief Product Officer, he led the strategic management as well as structured, developed and positioned of all Affin Hwang Asset Management's products in their respective client segments.

Steve brings with him over 27 years’ experience in portfolio management, marketing and product development for the fund management, stock-broking, onshore and offshore private banking industries.

Steve graduated from the University of Hawaii with double major in Finance and Accounting, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.


Esther Seo
Intermediary Business Development Manager of Nikko Asset Management Asia Limited

Esther Seo is from the Intermediary Business Development team at Nikko Asset Management Asia Limited. In this role, she is responsible for the distribution of mutual funds in Singapore and Malaysia. Esther has over 18 years of experience in the financial industry including roles in Wealth Management and Financial Advisory.


Chue Kwok Yan
Chief Investment Officer of KAF Investment Funds Berhad

Chue Kwok Yan joined KAF Investment Funds Bhd (KAF IF) in March 2018 in the capacity of Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining KAF IF, Kwok Yan was the Head of Research at Affin Hwang Capital for two years. Before Affin, Kwok Yan spent nine years in the Research function at KAF Seagroatt & Campbell Securities, one year at CLSA Securities Malaysia, and five years at ABN Amro Research Malaysia, where he started his career before rising to the ranks of Assistant Director. He has 18 years of experience in finance. Kwok Yan graduated from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in London with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
